Tino Privacy Policy

上海未伴纪元科技有限公司 (referred to as “we” or “us”) values your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your information. By continuing to use Tino, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this policy.
Important notice: third-party AI services
Tino’s chat, call and voice-note features rely on cloud models provided by MiniMax (上海稀宇科技有限公司) to generate responses. Before you first use any of these features, an in-app AI Data Sharing Disclosure explains what will be sent, the recipient and the purpose. Data leaves your device only after you explicitly select Agree and continue. If you select Not now, the relevant feature is disabled and no data is sent.
1. Information we collect
Account information
- Your mobile number for registration and login, supporting mainland China and the phone-number regions configured in the app.
- SMS verification results, login tokens and account status.
- The nickname and Tino name you provide.
- When using Sign in with Apple: the authorization code, identity token, user identifier, and email and name you authorize Apple to share.
- When using WeChat login: the authorization code returned by the WeChat Open Platform and information needed for subsequent login verification.
Device and operational information
- Device model, operating-system version, app version and build number, installation source, system language, region and time zone.
- Device identifiers: identifierForVendor may be used on iOS, and ANDROID ID is read on Android. We obtain your personal information (ANDROID ID) while the app is inactive or running in the background, for login state, security and risk controls, troubleshooting and matching basic services.
- Network status, crash and error logs, and performance diagnostics.
Usage data
- In-app interaction records, including timestamps for feeding, playing and checking in.
- Virtual-pet state, such as hunger, mood and energy.
- Feature data for diaries, voice notes, achievements, affinity, companionship tasks and call status.
- Purchase or subscription status, product IDs, transaction status and purchase-restoration results.
Content you enter or upload
- Text entered in chat.
- Your speech during calls. Voice calls require microphone access and transmit audio streams through real-time audio/video services.
- Voice-note recordings and transcripts, and the resulting titles, body text, key points and emotion labels.
- Images, audio, video and other files you choose to upload or save.
2. How we use information
- Provide and improve Tino’s core services.
- Handle registration, login, account-security checks, account deletion and profile synchronization.
- Generate AI chat and call responses.
- Transcribe, polish and summarize voice notes.
- Provide real-time voice calls, reminders, local widgets, deep links, NFC recognition, resource downloads, file uploads and image/video compression.
- Process in-app purchases, subscriptions, restoration of purchases and entitlement displays.
- Analyze feature usage, diagnose faults and improve the experience.
- Fulfil purposes required by applicable laws and regulations.
3. Information sharing: third-party services, SDKs and plug-ins
To provide complete functionality, we integrate necessary third-party services, SDKs and Flutter plug-ins. We share or process relevant information only as necessary for the particular feature, and require third parties to protect it under their privacy policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Third-party AI services
AI functionality requires sending your input to a third-party AI provider:
- Provider: 上海稀宇科技有限公司 (MiniMax).
- Services: MiniMax abab6.5s-chat for text generation and MiniMax speech-2.8-turbo for speech synthesis.
- MiniMax Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
The transmitted content includes text entered in chat, transcripts from call mode and transcripts of voice-note recordings. We do not send MiniMax your phone number, contacts, location or directly identifying information unnecessary for the feature. This data is used to generate Tino’s text or voice responses, synthesize its speech, and create titles, polish text and extract key points for voice notes. MiniMax does not use this data for targeted advertising, user profiling or training its general-purpose models.

Other than the scenarios necessary to implement features described above, we do not share your personal information with other third parties, except when required by law or in response to lawful requests from judicial or administrative authorities.
4. Data storage and security
- Local data: preferences, game state, diary content, voice-note drafts and cached files may be stored on your device using SharedPreferences, Hive, system directories or shared App Group/Widget containers.
- Cloud data: relevant data supporting accounts, basic synchronization, AI features, diaries/notes, resource storage and server-side configuration is stored on our servers and cloud services, mainly deployed in mainland China.
- File uploads: images, audio and video you choose to upload are sent to Alibaba Cloud OSS with temporary credentials and managed under private read/write policies.
- Transfers use HTTPS/TLS encryption; real-time audio/video transmission uses the RTC service’s security capabilities.
- We use necessary technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, minimum necessary authorization, log auditing and anomaly investigation.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- View and edit your personal information.
- Delete your account and all associated data.
- Withdraw microphone, speech-recognition, notification, NFC and other permissions.
- Withdraw AI data-sharing consent through Settings → Reset AI consent.
- Delete chat history, diaries, voice notes, uploaded resources and other content you create.
- Export chat history, diaries and voice notes where the app provides an export entry point.
- Raise a complaint about this policy and receive a response.
6. Protection of minors
Tino is intended for users aged 4 and above. Users aged 4–18 must obtain their guardian’s consent before use.
7. Cookies and local storage
Tino uses SharedPreferences, Hive, system file directories and shared App Group/Widget containers to store preferences, game state, caches, diaries and reminder state locally. We do not use cookies for tracking or any advertising SDKs.
8. Permissions
- Microphone: voice calls, recordings and voice notes.
- Speech recognition: converting your speech to text.
- Notifications: local reminders for pet state, check-ins and diary generation.
- Network: login, synchronization, AI services, resource downloads, uploads and purchase verification.
- Storage/media access: saving, reading, compressing and sharing images, audio or video you choose.
- NFC: reading tag contents only when you actively use NFC features.
9. Changes to this policy
We will prominently notify you in the app of material changes to this policy, especially those concerning third-party data sharing, and obtain your consent again where necessary.
