Plush and interactive toy buying guide
Decide whether you want something soft to hold, character interaction in an app or voice responses from the toy itself. SomniNono connects a physical plush with a mobile app.

How the three product types differ
An ordinary plush offers a character, texture and physical presence. App-connected plush uses an identifier or NFC to connect with a phone experience. Speaking toys may contain speakers, microphones and other electronics. Check each model for actual features, connectivity and charging requirements.
- Ordinary plush: consider this if you mainly want to hold, display or carry a character.
- App-connected plush: suited to people comfortable using a phone for both physical and digital character experiences.
- Speaking toy: if sound from the toy itself matters, check its real voice features, battery life and controls.
The plush, NFC and phone have different roles
The plush provides a character you can touch. Passive NFC needs no charging and provides recognition and interaction after binding. First-time binding uses the supplied serial number. Care, AI chat, photos and digital activities run in the mobile app and cloud. The plush does not speak itself or automatically detect emotions when hugged.
Check the practical details before buying
Start with the character's appearance and texture, then your intended use. Check the physical product's age guidance, dimensions and contents. For digital activities, also check the phone, account, connection and included benefits. Hats, glasses and other styled accessories are not automatically included.
Choose your next step
Meet the four Nono characters to choose a favourite, or explore the app to understand digital interaction. If you want to avoid using a phone, decide based on the physical plush and its use; app capabilities are not capabilities inside the toy.
